What does the application Process consist of?

Each applicant must complete an application form, as well as submit their resume and statement of interest. Applicants will then interview with COE members before being accepted as a member.

What does the coE membership get me?

We get it. Money and time should not be wasted. That’s why we are intent on providing not only an exclusive community to be a part of but access to information, resources, mentorship, networking connections, social justice volunteer opportunities, job and scholarship listings, and exclusive invitations to COE networking events in your region.

During our inaugural year (MY2020), we held over 10 programming events that were specifically curated to address the needs and interests of our membership. We invite experts from the legal field and beyond to enhance our programs and further empower our members. Our exclusive programming has received no less than an average ranking of 4 of 5 per event.

How often do I have to pay the membership fee? 

The membership fee is an annual fee to be paid once at the beginning of the membership season each year. There are no additional membership fees throughout the year.

When does Membership season begin?

The COE membership begins in January of each year.

I’m a law studenT and I can’t afford the membership fee right now. Help?

We understand and will work with you. We have a partial payment option available to both law students and attorneys. APPLY TODAY!

I’m currently doing a judicial clerkship but plan to pursue a career in litigation, May I apply?

Yes! COE will give you the extra assistance you need to keep your skills sharp while you complete your clerkship. APPLY TODAY!

With COVID, how will COE create community?

We are no stranger to the strain and inconveniences of COVID but we are prepared to meet the needs of our community. We have the technological tools to provide information and resources for our members.

After your application is reviewed, you will be invited to interview with us. Selected applicants will then be offered membership. Membership dues will be due in January following a membership offer and acceptance.
